About Cedar Fox Quilts
The Cedar Fox Story
In my family, quilts have always marked the important parts of life. Over the years, I’ve seen how something handmade can become connected to a home and the memories made there.
That feeling is a big part of why I started Cedar Fox Quilts. I wanted to take something I’ve loved for years and create a smaller way to bring that same warmth into a home. Something handmade that could change with the seasons, be pulled out year after year, and eventually become part of the traditions and memories happening around it.
That idea became the Cedar Fox frame and quilted inserts: a simple way to display small handmade quilts throughout your home and change them as the seasons do. And for those who would rather make their own, I love that the frames have also become a place for other makers to display what they’ve created.
The name Cedar Fox comes from our home, which feels fitting. After years away, my husband and I came back to the area where I grew up, close to family, and built our home here. In a lot of ways, this business grew out of all of those things coming together: coming home, a love of quilting, and wanting to make something that could have a place in other people’s homes too.
Cedar Fox Quilts is still new, but the ideas behind it aren’t. Home, family, quilting, and making things for the people we love have been around for a long time.
